Aim and process

The principal mission of the “Taittinger,” of its Organisation Committee and of its Juries is to defend and promote the excellence of classical French cuisine. As a result of the level of diversity of the great chefs who run the contest and of the candidates who come from all horizons, the Prix never ceases to enrich this culinary tradition with myriad multicultural influences. The Prix comprises two stages, the national finals and the international final.
Each national final will send a chef to fight for the Prix at the International Final in Paris. The national finals are organized in a certain number of countries in which French cuisine is particularly influential. On the eve of its 45th competition, the “Taittinger” reaffirms, with conviction and generosity, its will to pursue a mission in the greatest respect for and spirit of the great masters of the French culinary arts.
